Spring Makeup

Spring Makeup

Face
I recommend the L'Oreal Lumi Cushion because it is a foundation with great coverage and it is not to heavy on the face. It is also long lasting, so that it will stay put, even on the warmer Spring days. The foundation is semi-matte so it will give your skin a nice glow without looking too oily.

For blush, I love the NYX Ombre blush because it adds a flush of color to your cheeks and looks very natural.  The powder itself is very smooth for a clean application. The idea of the ombre blush is very unique, and the colors mixed together create the perfect shade.

Eyes
The Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette has several shades that have a variety of pink shades, which are perfect for spring. Some of the eyeshadows are matte and the others are metallic.

Lips
The Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks have a variety of shades that range from reds to neutral colors. I recommend the more neutral shades and the bright pink shades for Spring. The Colourpop lipsticks are long-lasting and they are very affordable.

Makeup I Regret Buying

Makeup I Regret Buying

I have tried many makeup products and not all of them have turned out the way I have expected them to. These are the products that I will probably never purchase again.

Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil
I have purchased a few products from Rimmel before, like the Stay Matte Powder and the Stay Matte Primer and I loved both of those products. I decided to purchase this because it was only $3.00 and I needed a new eyebrow pencil. But when I first used it, it was too dark for my brows and it appeared very harsh, it was also very difficult to blend.

Physicians Formula 2-in-1 Bronzer and Blush
The main reason I bought this bronzer & blush is because I liked how compact and portable this product was. Also, I wouldn't have to carry around a separate blush and bronzer in my makeup bag when traveling. I didn't like this product because it was not pigmented at all and it was very difficult to get the powder onto a makeup brush.

$8.50 at Walgreens

L'Oreal Voluminous Marker Eyeliner
This eyeliner was okay but the ink dried up very quickly. When I first used it, I really liked it because the eyeliner stayed on all day and the tip made it easier to apply. But after 2 weeks the ink was already dried up and I couldn't use it anymore.

New Makeup

New Beauty Products That I Want to Try

The Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick is a matte lipstick that I have always wanted to try because it is a matte lipstick that does not dry out your lips. This lipstick also lasts a very long time and is very pigmented. It uses avocado oil and vitamin E to moisturize your lips. There are 16 shades to choose from and the shades are very unique.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit is a highlighter and bronzer palette. I use bronzer to define my face and highlighter for a nice glow on my face. I have been very excited to try this palette out because many bloggers have recommended this product because of its pigmentation and the shades are perfect for every skin tone.

$40 at Sephora
The Becca Skin Perfector is a a blush that also has highlighter mixed together. Becca is known for their amazing highlighters, so I was excited to find out that they have made a blush with highlighter. Not only do they have blush, they have also created bronze colors and different shades.

Skin Care Routine

Skin Care Routine

At the end of the day, it is important to remove your makeup properly because it will clean off the impurities, makeup, and dirt on your face. If you do not have a proper skin care routine it can lead to irritation and can cause your skin to age faster. My skin care routine consists of deep cleansing my face to remove my makeup, and other products that will minimize my pores.

1. I use the Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser and it is my favorite cleanser because it effectively deep cleanses my skin and also removes the dirt in my pores. I have sensitive skin, and this cleanser is perfect for all skin types. Another thing that I love about this cleanser is that, it brightens my skin and leaves my skin very soft.

$28 from Sephora
2. After cleansing my face, I use the Etude House Wonder Pore Foam (a foam type toner) which is used to minimize the appearance of pores, controls oil, tightens pores, and moisturizes the skin. This toner is very affordable and I bought it from Etude House which is a Korean brand.

$12 from Etude House
3. The last product I use, is for my pimples and it is the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. I recently bought this product because I saw reviews on it online and many people recommended it and have said that it has helped to remove their pimples and other blemishes overnight. This product does effectively work to remove pimples quickly and I recommend it to everyone.
